Homework (Due Thursday 25th)

Stichomythia refers to a feature of Greek Tragedy where the rhythm of the dialogue is changed into a series of one-line exchanges between two characters. Look closely to the examples of this on pages 39 - 43

1) Why is this such an effective structural / dramatic element?
2) How does this section help to set up ideas about gender politics?
3) Whose arguments are more convincing? Why?
